December 5, 2011:

We are now happy to provide freshly-roasted, freshly-ground Leelenau Coffee Roasting Company coffee.  They roast it fresh in Glen Arbor and we grind it fresh each morning at the Cherry Tree prior to serving to our guests.  We're happy to support a local company while also serving a quality cup of coffee to our guests!  Come, smell, and taste!

November 29, 2011:

It's official!  We have broken ground on our outdoor heated pool and spa.  It's scheduled to open spring 2012.  The Cherry Tree will be the only select-service hotel in Traverse City with an indoor and outdoor pool. You'll be able enjoy beautiful May weather and the warmth of our outdoor pool without trying the cold bay water in the spring. Check out our Facebook page for pictures and progress updates.

It's official! Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, tucked away in Leelanau Peninsula, won the title of "Most Beautiful Place in America" on ABC's Good Morning America.
